Public Area Checklist (February, May, August, November)
Public Areas often create the first impression our guests have with AH hotels. It is essential that your guests experience a clean and well maintained hotel from the moment those guests walk through the door. Whether your team is deep cleaning a meeting room, fitness centre or a restroom, using the 5-S Process will ensure everything is clean, feels ‘like new’, and is in its place.
Take pride when deep cleaning and maintaining all hotel Public Areas to build the ‘Culture of Clean’ throughout AH hotels. 

To be cleaned: Stairwells, Hallways/Corridors, Elevator, Laundry, Fitness Centre, Meeting Rooms
Vacant Clean: Room Previously marked clean but housekeeping went to touch up (No Reservation in Room).
Vacant Dirty: Departed Room. Guest has checked out.
Occupied Clean: Occupied Room that cleaning was completed. Guest still in house.
Service Refused: Occupied Room But Guest Refused Service.
Out of Order: Room Out of Order.
