A MESSAGE TO OUR GUESTS

Dear Friends: We Are Back!
 

Our doors will be open for business from June 8th, 2020.

We hope and pray that you all are safe, sound and healthy. At Alpha-Plus Apartment 91, we care about all our guests, who we’ve come to call as family. Our topmost priority is and always will remain your health and safety.

In light of the impact and changes caused by the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, we are undergoing a few changes to our operations that will not detract from the high level of service you have been accustomed to receiving. 

As we did before this global pandemic, we will continue to ensure that every room undergoes Ozone Sanitisation to ensure each guest is treated to the most purified space possible. Here's why:

In addition, we are taking the following precautions:

  • All guests and our team members will have their temperature taken before entering AA91.
     

  • Our team members have increased the frequency of cleaning (using chlorine solutions) and disinfecting of public spaces, with a focus on front desk, elevator buttons, door handles, public restrooms, room keys and light cards.
     

  • At any given time, only 30% of our entire team members will be scheduled to be at work on a rotational basis to minimise the foot traffic in Alpha-Plus Apartment 91. 
     

  • Linens are washed and disinfected at temperatures from 60-90℃ with heavy duty industrial laundry equipment.
     

  • We encourage everyone to wear masks or facial coverings, to wash/sanitise hands at the provided washing area before approaching the front desk or in communal corridors. 
     

  • We also recommend contactless payment technology, such as bank transfers and POS.
     

  • Certain services will be limited.
     

  • We are also investing in a digital communication medium to minimise interactions between you, our wonderful guests, and our team members. Where you can connect with us through either SMS or WhatsApp or phone-call without having to leave your room.
     

  • We keeping the activity time of any activity, where social distancing cannot be maintained, as short as possible.
     

  • We use back-to-back or side-to-side working (rather than face-to-face) whenever possible.
     

  • The following venues remain closed; spa, swimming pools.
     

  • Restricted access to the gyms: Access to the gym is restricted to one family or individual at a time. Interested guests should request for access at the Front Desk. Guests may lock the gym during their session to ensure privacy and safety. Gym will be disinfected after use.
     

  • Meetings of up to 20 people indoors are allowed in permitted venues if social distancing can be maintained.
     

  • Large wedding events or parties will not be permitted.
     

  • Buffett service at the restaurant has been discontinued. 
     

  • Inbound and outbound deliveries:  One-way flow of traffic in stockrooms. Ordering larger quantities less often. We currently have a single worker load and unload vehicles. 
     

  • All our rooms have their own individual ventilation and air conditioning units so there’s no shared air in circulation. 
     

  • Our policy for COVID-symptomatic guests: to ensure no onward risk of infection to other guests or workers, the symptomatic guests will be self-isolated in their rooms until NCDC instructs otherwise. The guest’s provided emergency contacts (nex of kin) will be contacted. The Local Government Area Disease Surveillance and Notification Officer (DSNO) and Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) (0800-970-00010 or 0809-955-5577) will also be alerted and due to close proximity to their Jabi-Abuja Headquarters, the symptomatic guest will be monitored by NCDC’s surveillance team in their designated holding area for further evaluation.

 

 We will continue to monitor the situation closely. The most important thing is to make sure you feel safe within your space here at AA91.
